Hi everyone! I'm Reese, and I'm a wedding, portrait, and event photographer based out of Charleston, South Carolina. This is my weddings blog! It's a bit of everything: my favorite photos, romantic moments, funny happenings, and fabulous details. I love to travel for weddings, and I've shot weddings everywhere from Key Largo to Springfield, Illinois. I'd love to be a part of your big day! Check out more of my work - or book me! - at www.ReeseMooreWeddings.com.

  1. Reese Moore Weddings in Southern Bride Magazine!

    ____________

There are few things I love more than a styled shoot (it’s like Pinterest, but where someone more qualified than I, in this case Bella Baxter Events,  executes all the great ideas, and I do not end up hot glue-gunning myself to a table), and I am beyond thrilled to share that my most recent inspiration shoot is featured in the current issue of Southern Bride Magazine! Check out this whimsical Prohibition-era party in your local Barnes and Noble!

    ____________

(And yes, that is my fur baby and the love of my life posing with the said magazine. Two nerds are we, no?)

  2. Rosemary & Craig on The Wedding Row!

    _____________

Weddings are all about the romance, and Rosemary and Craig’s Boone Hall Wedding was a gorgeous day filled with whimsy, Southern elements, and romantic details.  The bride’s wore stunning, classic lace gown while her groom rocked a cotton boutonniere, dapper suit, and colorful pocket square. After a stunning late afternoon ceremony overlooking the marsh, the couple threw one heck of a party at the Cotton Dock! Watching some amazing dance moves (and some very creative ones!) was one of my favorite parts of the evening!! Thank you to The Wedding Row for the wonderful feature!

  3. Karen & David’s Vintage Engagement Shoot on A Lowcountry Wedding!

    ____________

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend!! On a holiday synonymous with picnics, it seems perfect to share Karen & David’s engagement shoot! The lovely couple started the shoot off with a leisurely canoe ride around Cypress Gardens before settling in for a cupcake picnic and stroll around the grounds. I cannot imagine a more perfect way to spend a weekend, and I’m so happy with how the photos came out. Can’t wait to shoot their big day this September!!

  4. Katherine’s Bridal Portrait on The Wedding Row!

    _______________

Katherine’s bridal look was so classic and sophisticated. Her stunning Enzoani mermaid gown worked perfectly against the Governor Thomas Bennett House as a historic backdrop! Then it was off to Boone Hall Plantation, where the cotton field was in full bloom. Katherine’s stunning, timeless look made for some of my all-time favorite bridal shots!

  5. Randy & Ivonne’s Welcome Party on The Wedding Row!

    ______________

I love food. It’s one of the first and most important things you should know about me. And fortunately, my adorable couple Randy & Ivonne were also foodies! They welcomed all their friends and family with one heck of a party at local favorite Butcher & Bee (and my go-to gourmet sandwich place!), where everyone laughed, snacked, and partied the night away before the big day. Congrats again to two of the loveliest people!

  6. Happy Wedding Season!

    ________________

WHEW! What a spring! This year’s clients have been The Best, and it’s been a whirlwind of activity… which is why I’m a tad behind on the blog. So I thought I’d post a few favorites from my first Chicago wedding, Bill & Colleen’s perfect day! Next up, a few Lowcountry nuptials, and then off to California for Natalie & Trey’s wedding!! Happy Summer, y’all! More photos soon!

  7. Erin & Eddie’s Engagement Shoot on The Wedding Row!

I’m a sucker for goofy dogs - my own is like the second coming of Mr. Magoo - so when Erin and Eddie asked if I’d be up for doing the first half of their engagement session with their dapperly dressed pups, I was really, really excited. After strolling around the Citadel with their necktie-sporting dogs, we headed to the colorful and fabulous patio at Taco Boy, where Erin and Eddie spent a lot of time during their courtship. These two kept each other laughing the entire time, their wedding is going to be so much fun this December!!

I’m a little behind on my blog with all these lovely weddings to edit, but I couldn’t resist sharing just three favorites from Randy & Ivonne’s wedding!! This was the happiest, sweetest day! :)

  9. Angela’s Bridal Portrait on The Wedding Row!

Angela is so glamorous. The gorgeous bride to be showed up to her Harbor Club bridal portrait in this fabulous gown, vintage-style veil, and Stuart Weitzman shoes, with a box of Godiva in hand as a thank you present for me! (Chocolate, the way to my heart!) This portrait is dear to me, and I’m so grateful to The Wedding Row for showcasing this lovely lady in all her bridal splendor!

  10. Aubrey & Blake on The Lovely Find!

It’s hard not to love Aubrey and Blake. The look on his face when leaning in for their first kiss kind of says it all! This hopelessly smitten couple threw one heck of a great party, and somehow Aubrey managed to do almost all those adorable Southern wedding details by herself: the candy bar to the very thoughtful kids’ activity table to the burlap and the touches of antique lace. It was their love and their friends’ wild dance moves (I have never seen Thriller performed with such gusto!) that truly made this a night to remember, however!

  11. Valerie & Nathan on The Wedding Row!

How gorgeous is this dress? So glamorous, so timeless! Valerie was the sweetest bride, and Nathan looks like the luckiest guy in the world. I had such a great time getting to know these two - they’re just the nicest people - and their romantic, candle-lit reception was stunning. It was an honor to share in their big day! Thank you to The Wedding Row for sharing the love!

  12. Jessica & Will on the WellWed Blog!

I love autumn weddings, and Jessica and Will’s was just fabulous. The extraordinary fall foliage, Jessica’s classic Hollywood look and gown, and those dapper military blues and the saber arch set the elegant tone of the evening, while Jessica’s roses and wildflowers bouquet, antique getaway car, and cameo pin added distinctive vintage notes. The best part? The way the bride and groom looked at each other throughout the day!
